Printing a Balance Sheet

Once you have entered all of the required information needed to generate a balance sheet, command options will appear allowing you to print or choose from a set of other print options.

The following information prints on the balance sheet report. The standard format displays columns showing data for the Current Year/Current Period data and Prior Year/Current Period.

• Account – The account number.
• Cost Center – The cost center the account is associated.
• Account Description – The description of the account
• Total Current Assets – The total amount of all current assets (1000 - 1399 accounts)
• Total Fixed Assets – The total amount of all fixed assets (1400 - 1699 accounts)
• Total Other Assets – The total amount of all other assets (1700- 1999 accounts)
• Total Assets – (Total Current Assets + Total Fixed Assets + Other Assets)
• Total Current Liabilities – The total amount of all current liabilities (2000-2399 accounts)
• Total Other Liabilities – The total amount of other liabilities (2400- 2899 accounts)
• Retained Earnings – Net income (Owner's Equity) from previous year (2980 - assigned by system)
• YTD Net Income – (Total Income - Total Expenses) from income statement (2990 - assigned by system)
• Total Owners Equity – (Total Assets - Total Liabilities) (2900 - 2999 accounts)

• Total Liabilities & Equity – This number should equal total assets
